Finn UV Mast Cover – Carbon Mast Protection by RIPPER
Designed to protect the Finn carbon mast while the boat remains rigged in the dinghy park, as well as during transport and storage.
Carbon masts spend long periods exposed to sunlight, salt, dirt and repeated handling. The RIPPER UV Mast Cover creates a practical protective layer around the mast, helping reduce direct UV exposure, surface contamination and scratches.
The cover is made from coated polyester fabric selected for outdoor sailing use. Rather than using exaggerated material claims, we focus on the function the cover is designed to perform: protecting an expensive carbon mast during repeated exposure and everyday handling. Specification before slogans.
Fitting is simple. The cover connects to the halyard and is hoisted up the mast, while the long zip allows it to close around the mast without removing the rig.
At the base, an adjustable strap with buckle secures the cover in position. Areas exposed to repeated rubbing and wear are reinforced to improve durability during regular use.
The Finn UV Mast Cover can also be used together with the RIPPER Finn Regatta Top Cover to create a more complete protection system while the boat remains fully rigged.
RIPPER products are designed, cut, sewn and finished in Poland under direct supervision, with many technical components sourced from Polish manufacturing partners.
