OUR STORY
THIS IS RIPPER.
Built since 2014. Redefined in 2024. Ready to go everywhere.
RIPPER did not appear overnight. It is more than a decade of specialist production, practical experience and direct contact with the sailing world — now given a stronger identity and a much bigger direction.
What began in 2014 as focused production of sailing covers has developed into a complete protection brand for sailors, racing teams and boatbuilders.
BUILT THROUGH REAL WORK.
Our products are shaped by what happens outside the catalogue: repeated transport, crowded boat parks, long storage periods, changing weather and demanding everyday use.
Years of working closely with sailors and boatbuilders, including Devoti Sailing, have taught us where protection fails, which areas experience the most wear and which details make a real difference over time.
That experience is built into every RIPPER product.
2024: A STRONGER IDENTITY. A BIGGER DIRECTION.
In 2024, RIPPER entered its next chapter. The logo changed, the visual identity became stronger and the range began expanding beyond covers into bags, accessories and complete protection systems.
This was not a new company replacing an old one. It was the experience built since 2014 moving forward under one clearer and more ambitious brand.
MADE IN POLAND. CONTROLLED FROM THE FIRST CUT.
RIPPER products are designed, cut, sewn and finished in Poland under our direct supervision. This gives us control over fit, reinforcement, finishing and final inspection — without an anonymous production chain.
Many of the technical components we use, including threads, load-bearing webbing, buckles, elastic cords and ropes, are also made in Poland. Selected components are supplied by an experienced Polish manufacturing partner operating since 1986.
We choose Polish manufacturers and suppliers wherever their components meet our technical requirements. For us, local production is not a decorative label. It means communication, responsibility and control over the product.
SPECIFICATION BEFORE SLOGANS.
We believe customers should know what their protection is made from and what it has been designed to do.
Selected RIPPER transport covers use 1680D polyester with a PU coating and WR finish — specified for demanding transport, repeated handling and abrasion-prone use. Other products use materials selected specifically for their required balance of protection, weight, moisture resistance and flexibility.
A proprietary material name tells you what a brand calls its fabric. A specification tells you what the fabric actually is. We prefer clear information, purposeful material selection and performance that can be understood.
ENGINEERED WHERE IT MATTERS.
A strong fabric alone does not make a great cover. Real protection depends on fit, tension, reinforcement placement, secure fastening and the way every element works together.
That is why RIPPER products are developed around specific sailing classes and real patterns of use. High-stress areas are reinforced where necessary, and every construction decision has a purpose.
A TEAM BEHIND THE PRODUCT. A REAL PERSON IN FRONT OF THE BRAND.
RIPPER has been built through the work, knowledge and commitment of a specialist team.
Rafał Tersa is the day-to-day face of the brand. As Co-owner and Brand & Product Lead, he handles customer conversations, product direction and relationships with sailors, teams and business partners.
When you contact RIPPER, you are speaking with people who know the products, understand how they are made and take responsibility for what leaves the workshop.
WE ARE BUILDING WHAT COMES NEXT.
We are not here to become another logo in sailing. We are building a European sailing protection brand with Polish production, transparent specifications and direct responsibility for every product.
More sailing classes. More specialist products. More markets. The same focus on protection, function and real-world use.
MADE HERE. BUILT TO GO EVERYWHERE.
