Finn Centerboard Protector by RIPPER
Designed to protect the Finn centerboard and the surrounding deck area during transport, storage and repeated handling.
The protector uses a 3-layer construction combining a durable outer layer, protective foam padding and a tarpaulin inner layer. High-strength webbing is integrated into the construction to reinforce the areas exposed to repeated loads and abrasion.
Integrated elastic shock cords help the protector fit securely around the centerboard and keep it correctly positioned during use.
The shape also helps protect the top cover from rubbing and chafing caused by the centerboard head, reducing wear where the centerboard comes into contact with the cover during transport and storage.
The construction is designed around real Finn use: repeated loading, unloading, transport and regatta handling. Specification before slogans.
